Job description

As Sales Director at Dataline, you will report directly to the CEO and play a crucial role in the growth and development of our international sales team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and executing a strategic business development plan aimed at increasing our market position in Europe. You will lead, motivate and support a team of talented sales professionals to achieve our sales goals. Your job will be to actively participate in sales processes, attract new customers and effectively present our products to potential customers.


Duties and responsibilities:



  • Design and implement an international strategic business development plan to strengthen Dataline's market position in Europe.
  • Plan and execute international sales growth by helping customers optimise their processes using our software solutions.
  • Lead, motivate and support the sales team to achieve set goals.
  • Actively participate in sales processes to attract new customers.
  • Develop in-depth understanding of Dataline products and present them to customers.
  • Implement and manage the "Dataline sales process" in all countries where we operate.
  • Monthly pipeline reporting and forecasting.
  • Qualifying prospects and building a strong pipeline, then converting the pipeline to signed contracts.
  • Preparing sales plans per country and ensuring your team achieves the targets set.
  • Evaluating your team members and ensuring their continuous development.

Job requirements

Qualifications:


  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar sales or leadership role, preferably with an international player
  • Proven success in developing and executing strategic business development plans.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French and/or Spanish is a plus.
  • Leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and coach a sales team.
  • Deep understanding of software solutions and ability to explain complex technical concepts to customers.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe.
