Dataline's headquarters are in Brugge-Loppem (Belgium) but in addition to Limmen-Amsterdam (Netherlands), there are also offices in Paris (France), Valencia (Spain) and Willingen (Germany). What may you do at Dataline?

As a Senior Internal Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for establishing initial contact with our prospective clients.

  • As the 'opener' of the contact, you have a crucial role in qualifying leads.
  • You do this by conducting dialogues via mail, chat, phone and/or video with boards, production managers and planning managers who have a challenge in their graphic production process. You can do this because you know very well what they are up against and how we/you can help them.
  • Largely, you will receive leads generated by our marketing automation and LinkedIn campaigns (yes, thank you Marketing!), but you will also proactively think about how we can get the right customers in our sights. This is because you are a helper/challenger, not a traditional 'push sales person'. As a result, you get results.
  • And you have to, because you have a target on the number of follow-up meetings for our Product Specialists.

Job requirements

What do you need?

You will master the difirentiantion selling methodology and the marketing, sales and business model of Dataline. Based on this strategy, you will reach your targets with ease. You will master the latest modern sales tools and techniques such as LinkedIn Sales, Lisa, Sales IQ, MAS Audit, social selling, inbound sales, ... to get in touch with target accounts and prospects.


What do you bring?

We know you are open to new techniques, but your experience in business Development is therefore the most important criterion. However, you do need to be as hungry as a bear.

In addition, you recognise yourself in the following:


  • You have excellent communication skills. *You are a smooth talker while typing
  • You have a proactive attitude, a driven and entrepreneurial personality with an eye on business. Who's stopping you...?
  • You are flexible, work independently and master newly learned skills quickly
  • You have a degree in economics or equivalent and you have an initiative-taking nature. Let's do it!
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role in a B2B business environment
  • You are analytical which allows you to make connections well and you are empathetic
  • You like to immerse yourself in the situation of the interlocutor, but can also transfer your mindset into result-oriented actions.
  • You have a more than healthy interest in processes and software in general and ERP software in particular.
  • Experience in the graphic industry is a big plus (studies and/or experience in a graphic production company). Knowledge of MultiPress is obviously a big plus, but not a must.
